For Vireroom polyester comforter sets, use cold water, tumble dry on low heat when the label permits, and do not bleach or iron. Check each piece's sewn-in label first: decorative pillows, trims, and other accessories may need different care.
Prepare the load
Separate pieces by color and care instructions. Check seams for damage and remove loose debris. Wash decorative accessories separately if their labels require it; a set does not necessarily belong in one load.
Give the bedding enough room to move. Do not force a bulky comforter into a small washer or dryer. If it cannot move freely, use a suitably sized machine or ask a laundry service to check the label before handling it.
Wash using the approved settings
Use the water temperature and cycle allowed by the label. Measure detergent according to its instructions and the load size rather than adding extra by eye. For the comforter care described above, keep the wash cold; do not add bleach.
Dry without overheating
Gently shake the item out before drying. If tumble drying is allowed, select the permitted low-heat setting, avoid crowding the drum, and pause to check and reposition bulky areas. Do not switch to high heat to finish faster. If the label calls for air drying, follow that method instead.
Check the inner layers before storing
Make sure the filling, folds, and thick edges are completely dry, not just the outer fabric. Allow the bedding to cool before folding it away, and do not iron the comforter to remove creases.
For a newly unpacked comforter that only looks flat, start with the unpacking and fluffing steps rather than an unnecessary wash.
