To evaluate polyester bedding online, move from the full-bed image to fabric close-ups, then read the material details. Each view answers a different part of the same question: how is this bedding made?
Look closely at the surface
Open the clearest close-up and look beyond the printed design. Notice whether the surface appears smooth, brushed, or raised by decorative stitching. Compare it with the written finish description. If the front and reverse are shown, inspect both rather than assuming they have the same finish.
Trace the stitching
Follow a seam along an edge, then look for stitching across the main surface. Distinguish a printed line from a stitched one by checking another angle or a close-up. Look at where seams meet, how borders are finished, and whether quilting forms channels or repeating sections. If a detail matters to you but is not visible, request a closer photo.
Match material details to each part
Find separate statements for the shell and fill. Note which part each fiber percentage or weight describes; a fabric weight is not a fill weight. Use the material glossary for unfamiliar terms.
Photos cannot establish measured warmth, fill weight, or exact hand feel. For an unanswered construction question, contact customer care with the product name and the specific detail you need, such as a reverse-side photo or the fill composition.
